Criteria for choosing your mooring and anchoring products

Moorings are a fundamental part of trellising, ensuring the long-term survival of the vines. Correctly installed tie-downs will ensure the longevity of your vines, since they determine the lifespan of the vines and, by definition, their growth. You need to take your soil type into account when choosing the right mooring rope.

• For soft soil, opt for anchoring discs or screw-in mooring ropes.
• For soft ground, opt for corkscrew or percussion anchors.
• For hard, stony ground, Fenox anchors offer good pull-out resistance.

When installing, make sure the anchor shank is aligned with the anchor wire.
