Here you'll find our section dedicated to spikes and studs, indispensable accessories for trellising your vines.

What are nails and spikes used for?

Nails and spikes are used to securely fasten trellis wires to posts, supporting the rows of vines. They guarantee the stability needed to withstand weather conditions and maintenance activities.

In addition to their traditional use in vine trellising, crampons can also be used to build animal fences and secure enclosures. They are also used for barbed wire and electric fencing. Their strength also makes them suitable for outdoor structures such as aviaries and shelters.

Our flagship products for your trellising needs

Our range includes special staplers for crampons, crampons Fenox, SCDC and Deltexas well as sledgehammers for easy installation.

  • Special cramp stapler: for fast, efficient installation of cramps without damaging wires.
  • Fenox studs and spikes : offer excellent rust resistance and long-lasting hold.
  • Deltex supports: notched plastic supports for lifting wires on wooden posts, suitable for polyester wire.

Tips for effective use of spikes and cleats

Install spikes at a uniform height to facilitate wire guidance and ensure even tension distribution. Use a suitable hammer to avoid damaging the spikes or splitting the posts during installation.
