Injection-molded washers comply with European directives for food safety and migration. Their perfect resistance to ozone and UV light means no physical alteration or change in color. No side sagging or tearing due to injected, uncut rubber. Very low variation in shore hardness (+/- 2 shore A). Remanescence (return to initial shape) is 80% compared with 50% for 1st choice rubber washers. Injection creates a protective skin, so the injected gasket washer takes on much less dirt, unlike cut 1st choice rubber washers, which have pores.
