Staves are a cost-effective alternative to oak barrels. LAGLASSE staves are made from the best wood in the Lorraine forest.

How to use the STANDARD stave: 1 stave for 25 litres provides the same aromatic levels as a new oak barrel. This contact ratio is based on the inner surface of a 225l barrel (Bordeaux or Bourgogne) and the volume of wine, i.e. 0.009 m²/litre. Total aroma extraction is achieved within 12 weeks. Can be used 1 to 2 times.
